Corporate Life

Where the life confined in a tiny cubicle,
People turning into each-other’s rival,
Desperation of somehow popping up,
And a blind race for survival.

Twisting now their own values,
A competition for Yammer posts,
Frequent visits of business ‘leaders’,
And attempts to be their personal host.

Insecurity, complaints and distrust,
A flood of rumors, back-biting,
Sucking up on the name of visibility,
This journey sure is exciting!

Spineless bunch, a herd of sheep,
Obsequiousness filled in the eyes,
Blinded by the leader’s aura,
Inferiority complex on an all-time rise.

In this fight of bitching and crushing around,
Somewhere we forget that an organization bleeds,
We all are humans, not resources in conflict,
Knowing this today, that’s all it needs.
